How fast a week a can fly by. The weather improved enough for a few shoots and an anemic AT&T data plan kept any social media to a minimum. So, with a clear schedule for the next couple days and a new data plan: here is a Painted Bunting.

Sand Fence, Surf and Soft Light. Mexico Beach Florida.

Going through the daily edit and found this shot in Dulce’s images. Since I can’t even see the trees outside (it’s raining that hard!), I thought this would be a great place to be this morning.

Most people associate Florida with Miami’s South Beach and Miami Beach, but way up to the North is the “Redneck Riviera.” Mexico Beach and coastal Panhandle of Florida is a quiet place. White sand, shells, tropical waters and laid-back towns: it’s beautiful. There might not be too many thongs or Mojito’s at places like St. Joseph Peninsula State Park, but there is a great sense of solitude being on the empty beaches of the Gulf.
